title Met Office Global Deterministic
description The Met Office's flagship Numerical Weather Prediction system, the Unified Model, underpins both weather and climate prediction and is used in several operational configurations. The Global deterministic 10km model is a global configuration of the Unified Model, delivering highly accurate short-range deterministic forecasts for up to six or seven days, and is recognised as one of the most advanced national meteorological services. Forecasts are generated four times daily: extended runs at 00:00 and 12:00 UTC, and shorter runs at 06:00 and 18:00 UTC.
