        "description":"LEELA (Lightning Electromagnetic Emission Location by ATD) is a lightning location system developed by the Met Office. It uses the arrival time difference (ATD) technique to locate lightning using a distributed network of sensors. ATD involves precisely measuring the time that the electromagnetic (EM) wave created by lightning arrives at a sensor. The later a signal from a given lightning discharge arrives at a sensor, the further it must have travelled to get there. By comparing the arrival times of the signal from a discharge between the network of sensors, the original source location of the discharge can be determined.",
